City Goat
I often compare New York where my kids live to Cairo where I live. I think we are more interesting. Would you find a woman sitting with her goat in Manhattan?
Excellent point - I bet you wouldn't see it in New York, nor in Australia, at least not where I live. I like that about going overseas too. I like animals so I notice them where they are. On my most recent trip I saw a HUGE bull on a truck in town, chickens, sheep grazing by the freeways...so many unexpected things. Love the pic.
Don't be too quick to say things like that can't happen in NYC.... just about ANYTHING can and does happen in NYC. I just read a news report of a man kissing a chicken while laying on the floor of a NYC subway car.... weird!
This one made me smile. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't find this scene in NY, but it's a lovely scene just the same.

Speaking of goats...they make GREAT lawn mowers! Here's a picture of a pet goat:

ReplyDeletePerhaps you could find a woman sitting with her goat in Manhattan. But she would most likely not have such a setting in which to sit.
ReplyDeleteSuperb.
