Learning The Ropes
This is a lovely balady Arab mare with her sturdy mule son at her side. He's only two months old now so by the time he's weaned, he will know pretty much everything he needs to know about driving.
She is a beauty and has great straps and bridles or what ever they are called, the young fellow seems to be loose and running free. He will be learning from his proud Mother.
Oh and he was such a little devil, kicking up his rear and snorting. I couldn't figure out how to get him into my already overstuffed luggage, so had to leave him there. :-)

ReplyDeleteHe's actually restrained by a neck strap. Much safer in traffic.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful documentation of the training of a horse.
