An ethnic craft shop had spread some of its Bedouin carpets on the sidewalk in the sun and a wandering kitten decided to take advantage of a nice spot for a nap. The carpets are woven on narrow looms and then sewn together to make a larger carpet. The Bedouins generally use a mix of wools: goat, sheep, and camel.

Very cute kitten, just as I wish I had. How narrow are the looms? How much length can they produce in one average day? Just curious....Thanks!
The individual strips are about a meter wide. I have no idea how much they can weave in a day. I expect that it depends on what else they have to do like feeding goats and kids.
it's all part of their scheme - use a cute kitten to sell more blankets! it would've sold me.
