This is one of the wrought iron statues at Fagnoon. Most, if not all, are created by the owner Mohamed Allam. The bridge goes over the canal so that child and adult clients can wander back and forth to do pottery, painting, or maybe play in the mud pit. What a wonderful place!

the structure of the building in the background looks so fragile, as if it might blow over in a stiff wind.
Your photographs are excellent. What would be the phonetic spelling for Etfadalu? I'd love to pronounce it. I've long been in love with Egypt and enjoy the vicarious experience of visiting your blog.

Etfadalu is the plural for welcome and it would be pronounced pretty much as written with the "a" being pronounced as "ah" and a long "u".
The building may look fragile but it is actually very sturdy. The look is partly to encourage children of all ages to paint and decorate it.
