Lucky Donkey

Any foreigner passing by this brilliantly coloured donkey would automatically stop and stare. The interesting orange coat is due to the family dyeing it with henna for luck and to keep away the evil eye. The colour should keep almost anything away!

Haha. I thought it was a natural red-head. I guess that shows how much I know about donkeys.

Hey, I just wanted to say that I love this blog. I found it when I did a Google search for "egyptian fox" or "egyptian feral dogs".

I'm going to school (and not particularly wealthy) so I haven't had a chance to travel as much as I would like to (yet) and I find blogs like this to be infinitely interesting. I love getting sneak peeks (in the English language especially!) to places that I may or may not visit some day through photos and blurbs like you post here. I'm bookmarking for sure!
