The Photography Elf has done it again with a lovely photo of one of our sunflower heads. Sunflowers are grown here for oil or for snacking, although we grow them for the parrots. The lines of seed radiating out from the center are mesmerising.

Beautiful photo.
Sunflowers, at their various stages, are true natural works of art.
Gorgeous!
sunflower seeds, my FAVORITE snack. I won't fight the parrots over them, though. Mohammed has such a great eye!

So beautiful! I love the pattern and texture.
When I lived in Sedona, Arizona, I had some wild sunflowers growing in the garden. (Volunteers!) The very best part was how much the goldfinches loved them. For about two weeks I had small visitors every day.
You really have an eye for photography! Glad I stopped by!
