Most kids, rich and poor, live in apartments in Cairo. What most people don't realise that the usable land in Egypt is roughly the size of Holland with a population of 80 million. This weekend we hosted our annual Girl Scout campout at the farm. One of the biggest attractions was our seventeen dogs who think that 35 girls to 17 dogs is a great ratio. Things are actually better for the rural kids who, while they live in apartments, have open space in which to play.

I live in Montana in the Western USA and grew up in Idaho on over 100 acers of land. I cannot imagine what it would be like to grow up in apartment. I know urbal dwellers the world over, in fact MUCH more of the population across the world live in apartments instead of houses with yards or acers but still, I just can't get my head around it. Here is "we want a bigger yard" not "where is there space big enought to play tag in within 10 blocks?" wow. different places different lives.
looks as if everyone had a good time.
Seventeen dogs? I wonder if you can remember all their names?
No more difficult than remembering all the names of your friends, really. Most of them were born at my home.
