Okay, I don't think that Aunt Fatima dons one of these outfits to go shopping for her veggies, but the raciness of some of the lingerie in shop windows in Cairo is a pretty stark contrast to the veiled women who are often seen checking them out. Thanks again, P.E.

Same here in Beirut. I think it's one of the curiosities of the middle east--so much is concealed, but the lingerie shop windows conceal nothing.

Yes, I'm quite surprised indeed! Susie of Arabia is also great at showing us the surprises of the arab world, especially in Saudi Arabia!
