Driving into the Wissa Wassef compound we found one of the daughters supervising the dyeing of the wool used for weaving their famous tapestries. They use natural dyes from the plants grown on the premises.

Where in Egypt can I see dyeing with indigo? Do you know?
Hello.
I am from Brookville Ohio.
I like your photography. You have so many things to choose from to photograph that are totally different from what we have. Nice work. I admire your photography skills.
I believe that Wissa Wassef imports their indigo dye, but I think they use it.
