If Ever There Was A Bridge For Trolls

Houses along the Mariouteya front on the road, but a drainage canal runs behind them. This family made themselves a bridge across the canal but I don't know if I could ever walk across it. Aside from the distinct possibility of a troll living under it waiting for one of the family goats, I'd be terrified of falling into the canal.

That bridge makes me remember the bridge in one of the places in the Philippines. It's a poor place. Hopefully by this time, a real bridge has been constructed.

yes, it looks quite treacherous!

Reminds me of some handmade bridges constructed in the jungles of South America.

Thanks for sharing!

I don't know if I'd have the courage to cross this one, either. But I'd love to watch someone else cross it.

I see kids, dogs, goats and the household women use this bridge all the time. It's a lot sturdier than it looks. People put together bridges all the time from two palm logs or whatever.
