The Ghost of A Cow

Many Egyptians like their meat fresh, very fresh. On Thursdays very often one will see a beef carcase hanging outside a village or city butcher, possibly covered with a damp cloth to keep flies away and preserve freshness.

Now the ghost says "Boo!" instead of "Moo." Actually the covering looks like a good idea. Please come and introduce it the meat-market area (Street of the Butchers) in our Old City souk.

Hehe, this reminds me of a funny story. My immediate family and I went to egypt a few years back. My dad was wandering down the street, staring at something when wham! Walked smack into a bloody side of beef.
